‘We were always pressured to behave like Disneyland employees…in reality, it was complete chaos’ The Informer reveals what it was like to work in a corrupt rehab facility. The first red flag was being interviewed by someone under the influence, which the Informer quickly realized was a common occurrence. Patients were picking up on-site and staff were even having affairs with each other. Profit was constantly prioritized over patients, with serious consequences on their recovery. Informer is a series where we hear the anonymised confessions and insights of people on the inside of different industries, institutions and events. I hope this person was a whistleblower for this place? Is there any follow up?
NA remains forever non-proffesional.
Can someone explain this to me -
Why do facilities like these prefer cash and not the insurance backed people?
What's the difference?
I know of a dude in metro Detroit who ran a corrupt rehab like this and he was selling drugs to the addicts.
Honestly having been to rehab the best it can do is get you out of a cycle that leads to death, it's honestly a lot of just group therapy which is good and putting you into a schedule, also they feed you really well or at least my rehab did since it was in small town Iowa, however to stay sober I'd recommend a halfway or sober house afterwards, I actually met some incredible people in rehab but in order to stay sober you have to want it for yourself period
If I tell my wife what is said in these whistle blowers videos (I love them as well. Although, now I;m scared of almost all companies who try to ''help'' people or whatelse) she will just say ''nah, that's just not true. She is lying. This is not how it works, they are there to help you'' and such... Man, I ain't trusting these mf's anymore. Never! They is all after yo bread.
That’s so fucked uppppppp
I wouldn't have been able to do this 🙈
i worked in rehab for 3 years. at one point i was made house manager. the whole thing is corrupt, they dont care about getting you sober but how much money they can make from clients. the success rate here in the mid ohio valley is very slim.
Ya know I went to work for NGO thinking that I could do something good but encountered the almost same thing. Harassments. Twice. Definitely changed my mind about my own people, marginalized or not they are still capable of evil. Nothing in this land is the way it seems. Always be critical.
What you need to find is the one person or set of people to inform on this entire China/Mexico Cartels/DEA/Politicians thing cause the politicians and DEA thru two simple actions which anyone who understands this stuff could easily predict the effects of and history could inform as to the effects of similar actions.
I'm speaking of them first making it hard for people to make meth that on the very top seems great. However, all it did was exchange local meth which isn't as strong, cost a little more, didn't have the major negative behavioural and psychological effects for cartel ice. The Chinese sent chemists to train cartel chemists. China supplies the bulk materials via super sacks and those huge liquid storage cubes. With this knowledge, the Chinese chemists passed to cartel chemists and a never-ending supply of cheap precursors plus the huge demand in the US due to the sharply increased difficulty in making alternatives locally has caused a meth epidemic that is at least a couple magnitudes worse than things were before the new legislation. The much more powerful and dangerous version of meth coming from the cartels used to be hard to come by and very expensive. Now the streets have much more of this meth available than locally produced small-batch boutique meth ever was. It is in this area around three times cheaper than meth ever was around here. This meth has also had a terrible side effect of causing schizo-type psychological breaks which the victim often times never recovers fully meaning that before they were normal. Now when stressed high they may see aliens or men in trees. It seems to affect women more often in this way. Also, a rash of male-on-female violence has occurred with incidents kike the Holly Bobo kidnapping, rape, torture, and murder increasing. We have had two young men kill their young wives and infant children and then themselves. That never happened before. And finally, the money that was at least staying in the community is now going south. Oh and china is causing America more harm, more expense, and wearing America a great deal without directly engaging America unless you count the politicians and such China obviously must own and direct to pursue this terrible horrible destructive policy that’s only good is a novice or idiot will hear folks can make meth locally and automatically assume that is a great thing. So with the new legislation and enforcement of meth working so well (for China and the cartels) Why not apply the same logic to opiates. They did. Before I knew only three people who OD’d and died. They didn't die from oxycodone either. They all died from mixing Xanax and methadone. Methadone is doctor Rx’d but not really. It is given mostly in a special clinic where the goal is to get people off opiates but really it is just replacing a safer opiate with a more dangerous opiate. Also these “methadone clinics” bring in much more than most doctors offices. Anyways they made it where doctors can't Rx opiates as they see fit. This cause a big supply and demand imbalance. Guess what? Can you? It is quite simple. The Chinese sent chemists to Mexico to... Guess what...To teach cartel chemists to make fentanyl from the cheap and abundant precursor chemicals china supplies the cartels with...making a much stronger, cheaper, and more abundant opiate than oxycodone ever was or will be. Yea!!! For progress. Since the restrictions on doctors started (like 2020 or late 2019) more people have overdosed and more have died from an overdose in my rural area than all overdoses from opiates including methadone (and might as well throw in Xanax otherwise before the category would have basically no overdose deaths. Ain't that something.) anyways since the restrictions started there has been 50x more overdose deaths from opiates than the previous 200 years combined. SO..... Let's give a great big f*king hand to this Chinese-owned c*ck politician and their DEA, AMA, and everyone that has had a hand in creating this reality and even those of us and our neighbours who were/are so brainwashed, dumb, ignorant, biased, and a bunch of other bad words indicating how terrible and bad a person can be. Those who knew this would happen (like myself and from what I understand the majority of people I've spoken to or whose statements I have read) should have thrown temper tantrums of epic proportions making any and all previous protests combined look small and insignificant because we might have saved so many of our family, friends, neighbours, strangers, and even those whose entire being seems the antithesis of ourselves because we should never send for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for you and me. Those who knew this would happen and supported it should be euthanized, period. They previously advertised (they truly were “advertising” the stats) vociferously the greatly inflated, stretched, pencil-whipped, definition-gamed, financially rewarded organizations, people, and such to pseudo-increase the en vivo opiate deaths. My area had the most opiate Rx’s per capita for several years and was always in the running for the top spot nationwide and I can't name a single of the few opiate deaths before the new laws that were anything besides methadone and Xanax. Where are those stats now? They have quit the wholesale lying to increase opiate deaths since the entire goal (supposedly but not actually ) was to decrease deaths. Now even with them working to decrease the reported deaths the number had increased mightily. Although between their gaming the previous numbers up and gaming the new numbers down they have been able to neutralize a significant segment which if accounted for accurately would cause an uproar as soon as anyone saw the actual numbers and a true before/after comparison. They no longer advertise the number of opiate overdose deaths. On the contrary, they actively suppress the data and deflect/distract anyone who isn't laser-focused on periodically reviewing the current effectiveness of the brilliant legislation china gifted America via the little American b*tches china so efficiently and effectively owns. America owns no influential Chinese politicians. If we did any actions except the most clever, slick, super genius level ploys would nearly instantaneously out any Chinese harbouring anything but 100% loyalty to China. Idk why we have gone backwards in our crucial struggle to maintain balance and counter Chinese gamesmanship. It is best for us, china, and the world that we do not give ground nor show weakness to a country like China. They do not respect good vibes and intentions. They respect strength. We cannot continue to welcome Chinese military scientists and other Chinese loyal people to be lightly whitewashed to give an extremely superficial air of this person is not a Chinese major here to learn out tech and then return home to use it at basically zero research cost while the US might have invested billions and years or decades of the minds and work of our top exotic dancers errr I mean scientists. It seems a segment if politicians and those who make decisions are owned by China, another segment is afraid to earn Chinese wrath, another doesn't realize it, and the last group are the ones that know and fight it. In return they have dumb educated elite Americas turn against them because the current state of political discourse for these types of people is binary.
How about Vice Informer doing a number on the British Tory Party 's orgies?
They've been going on ever since the Profumo and Duchess of Argyll scandals.
Why didn't Amy Winehouse sort out her trash?
They tried to make her recycle but she said No, No, No!
This world is filled with the most heartless people imaginable.
I interned at an alcohol/drug rehab, and it was a racket, too. Let the buyer beware!
I was addicted to heroin for 10 years and spent A LOT of time in different rehabs and treatment centers etc. This exact type of scenario happens way more often than most people would think that it does. None of what she's saying is all that uncommon. It's a really sad reality of rehab business in many parts of the country simply because of corporate greed and due to the higher up executives of the company prioritizing profits and monetary income over patients and the recovery rates of those patients, ya know?
The rehab i work at is 4,500 per night for detox and 2,300 per night off detox.
I'm glad that your telling this story but to what end? Things will not change until someone confronts this. People wait to see if the problems go away on their own and when they dont they get to scared to speak up because they feel like they are part of it now and unless we speak up we are part of the problem.
Hope Center Ministries is a lot like this even though they call themselves faith based. They dont take insurance but they work the patients and take every penny they make for 10 months. They force them to attend their church and read the Bible. They have no professionals on staff, not a single person that is trained to treat addiction. If your sick or need to see a dentist they tell you to just pray about it. No medical care. If you get hurt and cant work they kick you out.
