As someone who has played since about a year after its release, about 9 years ago now, and has 6200 hours, it is 100% worth it. And there are no bugs, only our lord and saviour, Lord Klang!
I'm more of a PvE type of player, so this game isn't for me. At least some AI enemies and competing factions who build their own bases would be appreciated. And rare earth minerals and a trading system. Huge wasted potential imo.
Its on sale is it worth it buying now is it hard or complicated:/
little info extra is soon enough a new ai mechanic is going to be implemented in the game so a ton more building options will be posssible
no monsters on the planet no bosses no loot just build which is fine but most of the build needs a science degree... shame ill wait till its free or $10 :S

The console version doesn't work as intended and the developers do not upkeep the game at all bugs lasting months with no attention at all. Major game ruining bugs as well.
