Ciao a tutti amici pescatori, con questo semplice video introduco questo tipo di #pesca nel mio canale, il #rockfishing all’ #orata, che peraltro è una delle mie tecniche preferite. Video realizzato durante le vacanze estive, nel corso di qualche pescata con alcuni suggerimenti e varie catture, sia live che post salpaggio dal momento che ero da solo in scogliera. Per effettuare questo tipo di pesca occorrono poche attrezzature ma affidabili e dimensionate: canne potenti, fili robusti e ami grossi sono le prerogative alla base, alle quali vanno aggiunte delle esche selettive come i biboni salati e le oloturie (in questo caso), ma anche vermi di rimini, granchi, seppie, paguri, bocconi e chi più ne ha più ne metta. In this video we head out to a spot that has not been fished in over 20 years due to the RCA (Rockfish Conservation Area). With new DFG regulations allowing us to fish to 600ft, this area is now open! We set out to target big Red Rockfish also know as vermillion. Fishing in 300 to 550 ft of water. (ALL COWCOD WERE RELEASED SAFELY USING PROPER DEPLOYMENT ) For tackle we primarily used 6 to 8 oz jigs and dropper loops with whole squid. The fishing started off slow but after a tide switch and searching around we finally found the fish we were looking for. In the second part of the video we show how to make some delicious ceviche and fish tacos.
