Make way for the new Killswitch on the block! The successor to our popular Telegraph Stutter pedal, Telegraph V2 is our all new, redesigned killswitch and stutter system. Retaining aspects of the original design, Telegraph V2 features updated, proprietary all metal hardware. This sturdy (and stylish) upgrade now allows the player to control the effect with their feet, whilst retaining tactile efficiency for hand operation. On the inside, we’ve designed a brand new Active circuit from the ground up. Featuring new modes and parameters effectively impossible to attain on the original Stutter. In addition to the classic Kill and Activate modes, we are excited to present: Burst mode! Burst mode is an automatic, tremolo-like stutter, adjustable from 110 bpm to an astonishingly fast rate, set by the Burst Knob. In Burst mode, the effect can be latched (with a quick press of the key), or triggered momentarily (when the key is held). For the player that would prefer to only have momentary mode, we provide an internal dip switch to turn off the latching feature. Additionally - emulating aspects of the original Kill and Activate modes - the “Polarity” toggle on the side of the enclosure further enhances the possibilities of Burst mode. When Polarity is set to “Kill”, your clean signal passes through until the key is pressed (engaging Burst). When set to “Activate”, no audio will be heard until the key is pressed, allowing for controlled bursts of sound! You can additionally control the rate of Burst mode externally by an expression pedal, or synced to a CV clock source to match the tempo. To cap it all off, Telegraph V2 features an integrated, power loss fail-safe, inso that if the pedal should lose power, it will automatically revert to a bypass state. This newly re-imagined telegraph pedal serves as a unique and creative tool for both live and studio use. Where rugged engineering meets on-the-fly inspiration! - The ultimate killswitch & stutter system - Three different modes - Kill, Activate, and Burst (automatic) - Expression pedal (≤ 10K recommended) and CV speed control via CTRL jack - Latching and momentary options - Polarity switch to assign Burst mode operation - Bi-color LED knob indicates speed and status - Power-free, limited passive operation - Fail-safe bypass if disconnected from power - All-metal, proprietary hardware for rugged foot and hand operation - Available in 6 finishes: Carolina Copper, Gotham Grey, Sierra Blue, Alpine White, Army Green, and Romeo Red - Handmade in the U.S.A. Specs - 9V - 2.1mm x 5.5mm Center Negative | 60mA consumption - In/Out: ¼” Instrument Cable - EXP: ¼” TRS Cable - CV: ¼” Instrument cable - 4.9" x 2.75" x 2.98" (including jacks and hardware) - Smart Bypass Equipped 🤍coppersoundpedals.com/product/telegraphv2 🤍coppersoundpedals.com 🤍instagram.com/coppersoundpedals
Available NOW at 🤍 Performance by Jack White on guitar, Carla Azar on drums, and Dominic John Davis on bass. Featuring songs such as "Blue Orchid" by The White Stripes, "Corporation" by Jack White, and more. Coppersound Pedals and Jack White are proud to announce the Third Man Triplegraph digital octave pedal, the newest gear offering in the Third Man Hardware family. The pedal is over four years in the making, with prototypes road tested by White himself during the recording and touring of The Raconteurs' Help Us Stranger. The Triplegraph's innovative design features three proprietary Morse-code telegraph keys and an integrated auxiliary loop. Using a high-power DSP Blackfin Processor, Triplegraph triggers an octave down with the left key, octave up with the right key, while the middle key activates a killswitch or auxiliary loop. The Limited Edition model (only 100 units constructed) comes with an exclusive Yellow finish, black and white print, a custom steel machined serial badge plate, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Jack himself, and a custom designed book, all elegantly packed in a special edition box. The Standard Edition is finished in a sharp, matte black finish with yellow and white print, packed in a standard box. Both models come with a custom designed 130+ page book that documents the origin story of this innovative pedal. The collaboration was born after CopperSound Pedals optimistically dropped off a custom, one-of-a-kind Telegraph Stutter — a momentary killswitch pedal — for White at Third Man Records’ headquarters in 2016, hoping that he would receive it as a gift. Within the hour, CopperSound received a call from Third Man staff saying that Jack had not only received the pedal, but saw even greater potential for it and had mocked up an idea for an expanded version featuring not one, but three keys: octave up, octave down, and momentary killswitch. In KILL mode, the middle key acts as a momentary killswitch, allowing the player to remove their dry signal and attain a fully wet octave up and/or down when used in conjunction with the octave keys. In AUXILIARY mode, the player can connect one or more of their favorite effects in parallel with the octaves via the send/return jacks, and trigger them in momentary bursts. The high and low octaves can be triggered in parallel with the dry signal when the octave keys are pressed independently. The octaves themselves track seamlessly with zero latency, and can be triggered in latching or momentary modes, using our “Loctave” toggle switches. The telegraph keys themselves are composed of custom stainless steel and aluminum components, making them indestructible and exceedingly durable for both hand and foot operation. The result of 4 years of rigorous ideating, concepting, breadboarding, testing, designing proprietary hardware, testing, retesting, testing again, and ultimately manufacturing is the best-sounding clean octave pedal ever stomped, capable of standing its own against industry standards and unleashing a formidable new set of sonic possibilities to pedal boards. About CopperSound Pedals: Originally intending to teach himself a new skill and build a few custom pedals he couldn’t find at the local Guitar Center, Alex Guaraldi began CopperSound quite by accident in 2014 just outside Boston in Easton, Massachusetts. Upon hearing of Guaraldi’s tinkering, requests from friends and colleagues for custom builds began pouring in, and it was clear that there was a mandate for CopperSound Pedals to be more than just an occasional hobby. Guaraldi joined forces with co-founders Jordan Collins as design director,Tris Coffin as dealer relations, as well as lead builder Oliver Brennan and turned his garage into a global headquarters for the boutique brand to serve up the sounds. With every pedal made meticulously by hand and a growing list of stockists all around the globe, CopperSound is committed to testing the limits of sonic manipulation in this golden age of gear and inspiring musicians to explore new aural horizons. Strategy V2 is a highly powerful two-channel preamp and overdrive, based around an audiophile-grade Burr Brown Op Amp. In ‘Preamp Mode’, Strategy can range from unity volume to a staggering 30dB boost, delivering enough volume to slam the front end of your amp for an incredible, fat and articulate overdrive. Toggling the switch on the back engages ‘Overdrive Mode’, adding subtle to substantial grit when riding the volume knob. Its elegant tone stack (present in both channels) allows you to perfectly sculpt your signal, making it an excellent choice for an “always on” pedal. Strategy V2 also comes equipped with Smart Bypass, our proprietary switching system. As part of our Pickguard Series, choose from a variety of finishes, pickguards, knobs, and hardware, creating your very own custom preamp. An all analog shot of adrenaline! Smart-Bypass™ This device is equipped with Smart-Bypass™, our new relay-based, true bypass switching system. The main advantages are its on-the-fly latching/momentary capabilities and fail-safe operation. A click of the footswitch will latch the pedal on as normal, but holding it for 300 milliseconds or more will activate a momentary mode. This feature can also be disengaged via the internal DIP. In the event of a power loss, your signal will automatically revert to bypass, ensuring signal always reaches its final destination. 🤍 In 2016, CopperSound pedals sent Jack White a custom Telegraph Stutter Killswitch pedal, inspired by the old Morse code telegraph key. Within the hour of receiving the pedal, Jack had mocked up an idea to expand on the stutter combining it with his favorite polyphonic octave effects. The Triplegraph project was a true labor of love spanning 4 years of hard work by CopperSound and Jack White, who ended up road testing the pedal and using it in the studio with the Raconteurs. The result is a clean octave up and down with zero-latency and spotless tracking, thanks to a powerful Blackfin DSP. Three stainless steel and aluminum telegraph keys were custom designed to withstand endless abuse from your feet or hands and the “Loctave” toggle switches give the two octaves independent momentary or latching operation. Octave down is on the left, octave up on the right and the center has two selectable modes: Kill mode removes the dry signal momentarily which allows stuttering effects but also reveals 100% octave signals when either are engaged. The Auxiliary mode engages the send/return jacks where you can place your favorite effects and blast them in and out in parallel with the octave signals. This can be anything from a simple boost to a combination such as fuzz or modulation to make a more dramatic effect. The Triplegraph standard edition comes in a black enclosure with a stunning 130 page book by CopperSound documenting the entire 4 year process, Including stories and photos of the prototyping, development and engineering that went into this custom pedal. Mini, germanium overdrive with big character. Introducing Kingpin! A mini, two-stage FET overdrive full of warm characteristics and Germanium sweetness. Although typically associated with vintage fuzz pedals, Kingpin’s Germanium aspect takes the form of clipping diodes as opposed to transistors, overdriving your signal with bell-like clarity and an artful touch of grit, making it the very definition of an “always on” pedal! Of course, Kingpin also carries a tremendous amount of gain on tap via the Volume knob, allowing players to use it as a dirty boost should the circumstances call for it. The Clip toggle makes this mini monster even more versatile, giving the user access to more aggressive levels of the same satisfying Germanium clipping, ranging from subtle to saturated, whilst retaining depth and definition. Germanium warmth without the price tag. Demo of the Coppersound Strategy Preamp & Clean Boost 🤍 My take: The Strategy is an analog preamp and clean boost in a super fun / creative form factor – it looks like the pick guard, tone and volume knobs from a Strat. FUN! Plugging it in, I was immediately blasted by a HUGE boost in output, which I loved. This type of pedal will be very amp-specific. Since it's not clipping internally, it's up to your amp to do what it will with the increased output. I just happen to LOVE it into my Jackson Newcastle 18. Word of warning! Definitely watch where you put this pedal in your chain... I found it sounded best totally on its own (nothing else in the chain)... but if you're going to put it within the context of a pedalboard, I found it sounded best after other pedals, at the very end of the chain. Super unique and powerful box from Coppersound! Check it out.

This one goes to Eleven! Gravity Bomb V2 picks up where the original left off; delivering up to 20dB of clean boost over the sweep of it’s volume pot, similarly powered by an audiophile-grade Burr Brown Op Amp. With the addition of our Mid-enhance toggle, V2 allows the player to further dial in their boosted tone, by selecting from three different mid-range types. The center position - just like Gravity Bomb V1 - maintains a flat and neutral EQ curve. In the down position, V2 boosts Mids at 750Hz, while the up position boosts at 1kHz, making Gravity Bomb V2 a great tool to pair with other pedals to give them a fresh tone and feel. Powering Gravity Bomb at up to 18 volts can deliver even more headroom and clarity. 🤍coppersoundpedals.com/product/gravitybombv2 🤍instagram.com/coppersoundpedals 🤍facebook.com/coppersoundpedals

At Noise Machines Studios we’re taking a look at the brand new Kingpin germanium clipper and Iris optical compressor pedals from the folks at 🤍coppersoundpedals. CopperSound is a pedal company out of Boston, Massachusetts USA (birthplace of Jonathan Richman) founded by Alex Guaraldi in 2014. Since then they’ve been building a range of interesting, useful pedals, slowly growing and recently collaborating with the likes of Jack White on a signature unit. You might recognise CopperSound from their successful Telegraph pedal, the tremolo/stutter pedal with the morse code key on top. What we’ve got here are a pair of single knob, one switch pedals from the CopperSound ‘mini’ series that each do one job, and they do that one job well. The Kingpin is a germanium diode clipper driven by a pair of FETs, a MOSFET to push the vintage diodes into clipping, and a JFET to boost the level afterward. It’s a nicely voiced piece, with plenty of grit, some harmonic fizz, and a clarity that is never lost, no matter how hard you drive it. The toggle switch lets you select three levels of how hard you’re clipping the diodes, from sort-of-subtle to saturated, and the volume knob controls the overall level. You can also run this thing at 18V for some extra headroom when you’re mauling sound through the new old stock ukrainian diodes. The Iris is an optical compressor, using an LED and a light dependent resistor to control the compression action. It’s kinda hard to talk too much in depth about compressor pedals, but this one is fast enough to not sound like you’re obviously using one. The switch controls how hard you’re squishing your signal, from smooth to snappy, and the knob controls your output volume. This thing has enough output volume to push the front end of a tube amp into a little drive. The compression setting built into the Iris is pretty versatile so it’s super useful, which is great because messing around with attack and release settings on a pedal compressor between songs is pretty damn boring, but having a great compressor is handy thing, it makes you sound like an incredible, even player, and we could all use a little help sometimes, right? Both the Kingpin and the Iris are a very pedalboard friendly 1590A enclosure size, for those with concerns about their precious real-estate. CopperSound were also kind enough to throw their popular Telegraph v2 pedal into the box - it’s an interesting pedal in that there’s a kinda unnecessary morse code key glued on the top that you use to trigger the non-latching footswitch of this kill switch and stutter unit. You can set the thing to either kill all signal until you press on it, or kill when you press on it, or you can use it to add momentary tremolo for some super cool Pete Townsend of the Who style pick up toggle switch outros. Or other cool guitar momentary stabs - it’s actually really interesting! The speed on it is adjustable too, and you can do that via knob, expression pedal, or CV (control voltage). It’s a cool concept, and I guess the steam-punk-esque switch does give you a bigger footswitch to target. The CopperSound Kingpin and Iris are a set of mini-sized pedals that both do one job, and they do that job really well. A simple one knob, one switch layout on beautifully simple, handbuilt circuit boards. The Kingpin runs at $99 US, Iris at $129 US, and if you’re keen, the Telegraph v2 is $249 US; all come with a lifetime warranty and are available from good pedal retailers worldwide. The Triplegraph is a digital octave pedal designed by CopperSound Pedals and Jack White, featuring three proprietary telegraph keys and an integrated auxiliary loop. Utilizing a high-power DSP Blackfin Processor, Triplegraph triggers an octave down with the left key, octave up with the right key, while the middle key activates a killswitch or auxiliary loop. Over four years in the making, the collaborative result is an innovative, state of the art clean-tracking octave pedal, capable of standing its own against industry standards. 🤍coppersoundpedals.com/product/triplegraph 🤍thirdmanstore.com/triplegraph-pedal 🤍coppersoundpedals.com/triplegraphstock

Introducing our latest potent sonic disruptor, in a pint-sized package! Renegade is a simple, no frills fuzz device with a compact and straight-forward interface; a complement to our growing line of Mini Pedals. Derived originally from the classic Tone Bender MK1.5, Renegade strays off the standard path, in part due to its integrated bias control. This toggle switch allows the player to easily select between two different bias voltages; resulting in a classic, full bodied-fuzz tone in the “up” position, and a more modern and gated fuzz in the “down” position. A hallmark feature of this micro-sized pedal is its long sustain, and an “electric sizzle” as your signal fades (especially prominent in the “down” position). The single Master Volume knob has PLENTY of gain on tap, and powering Renegade at up to 18 volts can deliver even more headroom and clarity. - Full-bodied, INTENSE fuzz - Multiple bias modes - Miniature Form Factor - 9-18V operation - Mechanical true-bypass switching - 9-18V | 2.1mm x 5.5mm Center Negative | 5mA 🤍 9V, 10mA 🤍 18V - In/Out: ¼” Instrument Cable 🤍coppersoundpedals.com/product/renegade 🤍instagram.com/coppersoundpedals 🤍facebook.com/coppersoundpedals

Introducing the new Fusion Series Foxcatcher from CopperSound Pedals! Customers can now experience the award winning overdrive in a whole new way as CopperSound Pedals adds an exciting twist to this beloved classic. With the Fusion Series, they bid farewell to the original clipping diodes and introduce a whole new level of versatility. The Foxcatcher now features two different types of clipping devices that can be easily switched between. Let's delve into the details: Silicon Position (SI): This mode utilizes four MOSFET transistors as clipping diodes, providing a powerful and aggressive edge to the drive. It's time to rock with an intensified sound! Germanium Position (GE): Switching to this mode unveils the magic of four Ukrainian-made, germanium diodes. Customers can enjoy a more compressed and smooth timbre that adds a vintage warmth to their tone. But there's more! The Fusion Series Foxcatcher from CopperSound Pedals offers additional exciting features. The tone sweep has been expanded, and extra volume output has been incorporated, allowing customers to explore a wider range of sonic possibilities. CopperSound Pedals is renowned for pushing the boundaries of sound, and the Fusion Series showcases their dedication to exploring new realms and infusing fresh twists into their favorite pedals. While they retain their signature design themes, they have incorporated unused aesthetics to create a truly unique experience. Customers can now unlock a world of innovative sound with the all-new Fusion Series Foxcatcher. Don't miss out on this opportunity! Demo of the Coppersound Broadway Germanium Preamp & Treble Booster 🤍 My take: The Broadway is a gritty, wild, dirty Germanium preamp pedal from Coppersound. Deep, thick, huge low end tone are accentuated and a grinding midrange is a signature here. Move the switch to the "bridge" position and you can get classic treble-booster type tones. This pedal is a bit unfriendly to buffers (as many germanium preamps are) so watch where you put it in your chain! At the end of the chain seems to work well, but I found it sounded best with nothing else in the chain at all. Check it out and have fun!

In this video, I give you a demo of the Coppersound Foxcatcher pedal with minimal talking. I've done my best to keep it objective, with minimal opinions given. What do YOU think of how it sounds? Let me know in the comments. Also: can you guess all of the pedals in the background behind me? Here's the signal path used throughout the video: Guitar ► Coppersound Foxcatcher ► Hughes and Kettner Tubemeister 18 Amp ► Koch Dummybox ► DAW ► Torpedo Wall of Sound (for cabinet simulation) On the two jams, I added some Delay using the Waves H-Delay Plugin. The guitar is a Richie Kotzen Telecaster. Please check out 🤍 to listen to my brand new album! Please join my Patreon at patreon.com/themusicaddict for special patron-only perks. "The CopperSound Polaris is a chorus & vibrato pedal with two independent depth levels, accessible on the fly. After being inspired by the original Small Clone, we moved forward from there. We started by replacing the depth switch in favor of a knob on Polaris. This allows for better control of the modulation depth. Following in the steps of our Daedalus reverb, we incorporated a second depth knob that is selectable via the secondary footswitch. The original circuit did not have any tone control options. We also decided to implement a Tone knob on Polaris. This knob allows the user to add or cut lower bass presence to the signal. Once we had a tone section sculpted to our liking, we placed a master Volume knob at the end of the circuit. The Volume knob goes from full cut to slightly boosted above unity volume. These two knobs work in conjunction with each other. Lastly, we added a Mode toggle switch to seamlessly alter between chorus and vibrato modes on Polaris. The end result is a luscious, all analog chorus and vibrato pedal with tons of cool options and features."
